May 23 - 'Can Do' Seminar Scheduled for Thursday

The National Association of Small Disadvantaged Businesses (NASDB) Institute of Learning announces its “Can Do” seminar, Thursday, May 26, 2011. The “Can Do” seminar will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center, located at 305 Fahm St., from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The “Can Do” seminar is designed for small business concerns that want to do or do business with the Federal Government to learn more about the changes in contracting opportunities and the current way the Federal Government does business. Topics will include City of Savannah and Entrepreneurship, Women-Owned Small Business Program, The General Service Administration Schedule and Procurement, Access to Capital – Treasury and Banks, How to Grow your Firm and Competitive Viability.

Presenters will be Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and Jacob’s Engineering, City of Savannah and U.S. Department of Treasury, SBA Regional Directors from Atlanta and South Carolina, GSA Office of Small Disadvantaged Businesses Utilization and NASA/JSC.
