Sea Island Bank has announced the promotion of Cathy Burke Hall to Branch Manager/Vice President and the promotion of Jamie Thompson to Workplace Solutions Coordinator. Hall works at the Hodgson Memorial Drive location while Thompson works at the Drayton Street office. 
 
“Both Hall and Thompson contribute professional skills developed through their unique past job experiences. Their constant drive to bring an even higher level of service to Sea Island Bank is the reason for their promotions,” said Jerry Barton, Savannah City President for Sea Island Bank.
 
 Hall’s new responsibilities as Branch Manager / Vice President will include the overall management of the branch, maintaining Sea Island Bank’s reputation for excellent customer service, while also developing personal and business banking relationships. Hall will use her new position to help individuals and businesses design the best mix of banking services for their needs. 
 
 Thompson will continue his leadership role as an Assistant Vice President in addition to his new position as the Workplace Solutions Coordinator in Statesboro, Savannah and Metter. His new duties will include coordinating the Workplace Solutions program initiative, generating retail and commercial customer contacts, building business relationships and presenting value-added educational seminars. 
 
Hall and Thompson are both active members in the community. Hall currently serves as a board member for Park Place Outreach, Inc. Thompson serves on the Board of Directors for the West Chatham YMCA. He has also served as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, a mentor with Junior Achievement and served on the Community Leadership Board for the American Heart Association.
