It’s time to send in your nominations for the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Savannah’s Hadley B. Cammack and The Silver Medal Awards.

The Hadley B. Cammack Award is presented annually to an active member of the American Advertising Federation of Savannah.  Recipients are nominated by club members based on outstanding service to AAF Savannah, outstanding service to the cause of advertising and excellence in advertising in any media.

The Silver Medal Award is the highest honor awarded by the American Advertising Federation.  Each year, local Federations may present the Silver Medal to one individual who has made outstanding contributions in advertising and in the community.  Recipients are nominated by Club Members based on contributions to his/her company, creative ability, general advancement of advertising and contributions to the community.

Also at the meeting, board members for 2010-11 will be sworn-in, and the guest speaker will be Savannah Magazine’s Associate Editor and Web Editor, Jim Signorile, who will discuss “QR Code: Savannah’s got a brand new square!”

The American Advertising Federation of Savannah is a nationally affiliated association of marketing, advertising and communications professionals in the greater Savannah, Georgia area. The club sponsors monthly professional development luncheons, biannual social events, and hosts the annual ADDY competition and gala.
