The Chatham County-Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission will conduct a series of public meetings to discuss proposed revisions to the Zoning Ordinance. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. Specific neighborhood dates and places are listed below.
The purpose of the meeting is to review the principles of zoning and to provide residents with an opportunity to raise issues that can be addressed in the Unified Zoning Ordinance currently being prepared.
The meeting will include a short review of the principles of zoning followed by public discussion of issues that residents and business owners think should be addressed in the revised ordinance.
The Chatham County Commissioners and Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah cordially invite you to participate in crafting this zoning ordinance that will affect the future of our community.
