It doesn't get much better than gorgeous weather and delicious food in downtown Savannah. the combo prompted hundreds to pack Reynolds Square last Thursday for the 9th annual Taste of Downtown Business Connection, sponsored by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.
More than 30 Savannah restaurants offered some of their tastiest treats, from the potato gnocchi at Trattoria Rustica on Bull Street to a delicious breakfast casserole from River Street's Cobblestone Cafe, to a spicy chorizo and beef tenderloin chili from Alligator Soul on Barnard Street. Being Savannah, there was also plenty to drink, including the famous "Knockout Punch" from Isaac's On Drayton.
The Chamber's next "Taste Of" event will be held August 19 at the Tybee Pier and Pavillion on Tybee Island.
