Oct. 29 - Department of Cultural Affairs Open House, 9:00-Noon at S.P.A.C.E. Gallery, 9 W. Henry St., Savannah, GA 31401. Cost is free and open to the public. Cultural Affairs staff will be on hand offering live ceramic Raku firings with an option to participate; tours of our Black Box Theater, Studios & Classrooms; and the current exhibit (Tradition in Transition: A Celebration of Quilts).

Nov. 1 – November Small Business Council / SMART Lunch. Save the Date for the November Small Business Council SMART Lunch at Savannah Morning News Auditorium. Nov. 2 – Governmental Affairs Council Meeting. Please plan to attend the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce's Governmental Affairs Council to discuss the upcoming 2012 State Legislative Agenda. Nov. 7 – Young Professionals of Savannah Town Hall Meeting. Join the executive board to find out more about YPS behind the scenes and learn the issues. Nov. 14 – NAWIC Lunch meeting. Nov. 17  – The Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce November Business After Hours will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The Smokehouse. Business After Hours is a great opportunity for networking with friends and business colleagues in a casual setting. Enjoy great food, complimentary beer and wine and door prizes. Nov. 17 – Young Professionals of Savannah Anniversary Party. YPS is hosting its 6th Anniversary Party from 6-9:00 p.m. at Saya Lounge located on 109 W. Broughton St., Savannah. The event proceeds benefit the Savannah Children's Choir Scholarship Fund. Event tickets are sold at a discount online prior to the event for $15 YPS Member, $20 for guests, and $35 for a pair through Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 ($5 increase per person in ticket price at the door). Tickets include hor'deurves, drink ticket, live performance by SOAP and more. YPS is accepting sponsorships at this time for donations of either cash and/or raffle prizes for the event. Nov. 17 – Leadership Savannah 50th Anniversary Gala will take place at the Savannah Yacht Club, located at 730 Bradley Point Road in Savannah.
