Nov 7, 2011 - The Savannah Downtown Business Association (SDBA) has announced that Stratton Leopold, owner of Leopold’s Ice Cream and executive producer of Blockbuster Films, will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Celebration of Service Luncheon in Savannah this week.
Each year the SDBA recognizes front end employees whom have exemplified excellent customer service throughout our community. The STAR (Service That Always Rocks) nominees are invited to a luncheon in their honor and one will be presented with the Ron Higgins Memorial Award. The 2011 luncheon will be held this Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Desoto Hilton.
The luncheon is accompanied by a business expo which starts at 11:00 am. The awards program begins at 12:00 pm. The cost for the event is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Nominees receive a complementary meal, a $25 gift card, and recognition. The Ron Higgins award winner will receive a gift bag of prizes, and gift certificates worth a value of $500.
The mission of the SDBA is to promote a quality, prosperous business climate in the unique environment of downtown Savannah.
