Oct 10, 2011 - The Savannah Chamber’s Annual tribute to the manufacturing sector of the economy is set for next Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 8 – 9:30 a.m. at the Savannah Golf Club. The breakfast is being sponsored by Georgia Power and will recognize several area manufacturers that are celebrating a significant anniversary.
The breakfast will honor the annual award winners for safety, environmental stewardship and community service. The Chamber is still seeking nominations for these awards. To nominate a company, go to the Chamber’s website at www.SavannahChamber.com.
Tickets are still available at $25 each for Chamber Members ($35 non-members) and tables of 10 are $250 ($350 for non-members.) Reservations are necessary. To register, visit www.SavannahChamber.com no later than October 14.
The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce encompasses Visit Savannah, Ambassadors Council, the CEO Council, Communities in Schools, Drug-Free Workplace, Greater Savannah Sports Council, Governmental Affairs Council, Leadership Savannah, Legends of Golf, Manufacturers and Distributors Council, Military Affairs Council, Owner’s Council, Savannah Compact Education Council, Small Business Council, Trustees Council, and Tybee Island Tourism Council.
