The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that this year’s annual Manufacturers Council awards event will be a breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 in the Savannah Civic Center Ballroom in advance of the opening of the Chamber’s annual Business Expo which will open immediately following the event.
The lead sponsor for this year’s breakfast will be Georgia Power, with more sponsors to be announced.
Awards including Environmental Company of the Year, and top Safety Award leaders will be announced.  Other companies which have achieved important anniversaries in our area will also be honored at the breakfast, according to Trip Tollison.
