The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce Tourism Division has named John Basile as Account Executive, responsible for leading the Division’s sales efforts. Basile has more than 19 years of previous sales experience in the Chicago area with RSVP, MarketShare and ReachLocal. According to Blakely Williams, president of the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, he will play a crucial role in the organization to build and strengthen relationships with area businesses to outline the value the Chamber has within the community. “We’re adding even more advertising programs to our list of offerings to better serve our partners. John is joining our team at the right time to kick these off and to begin work on our next Visitors Guide,” she said.

Erin Brinks has been hired as a therapist at the Counseling Center at Union Mission, a leading non-profit organization that works to reduce homelessness in our area. In her new position, Brinks will focus on developing professional and effective treatment plans for individuals, couples, families and groups and delivering high-quality counseling services. “Erin’s enthusiasm and experience will go a long way here at Union Mission,” according to Frances Carter, president and CEO of Union Mission. “Her educational background and experience have provided her with extensive training in a variety of mental health disorders and substance abuse treatment modalities.”
Brinks is a Licensed Master Social Worker and graduated cum laude from Furman University with a B.A. in Sociology in 2008. She earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011.

(NYSE: LPS), a leading provider of integrated technology, data and analytics to the mortgage industry, has announced that Nancy Murphy has joined the company as vice president of investor relations. Murphy is an experienced finance professional who has worked 17 years in financial strategy and analysis, business development and relationship management. Most recently, she directed investor relations for Stein Mart, Inc. and before that served as head of investor relations for Providian Financial Corporation in San Francisco. Murphy also served as vice president of Providian's treasury department and as its manager of institutional funding. Prior to that, she worked in corporate banking for Westpac Banking Corporation and for The Bank of New York.

Garrett Hartley has joined David Weekley Homes at Bluffton’s Hampton Lake private 900-acre lakeside community as a sales consultant. A native of the Savannah area, Hartley has worked the past nine years in sales with Centex Pulte Homes primarily in Bluffton. He is a graduate of Richmond Hill High School in Richmond Hill and South College in Savannah.
