June 14, 2019 - Colliers International - Savannah has launched marketing for retail space available at Plant Riverside District, one of the most highly anticipated redevelopment projects in the region spanning over 4.5 acres. With a budget of over $300 million, this redevelopment project is the largest in the history of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District.

Plant Riverside District will contain 670,000 SF of entertainment and hospitality space including a JW Marriott with 419 rooms, an indoor and outdoor live entertainment venue, three rooftop bars, more than ten different dining options, and a 488 space parking deck for convenient access. Adding over a quarter mile of new Riverwalk, Colliers is leasing three separate kiosks, 140 SF each, located in front of the Three Muses Building and adjacent to a Starbucks pavilion.

“Tourists and locals alike will be drawn down the Riverwalk by the variety of experiences that the development will offer,“ Ashley Smith, Principal at Colliers International | Savannah.

The Power Plant Building – the center point and inspiration of the redevelopment – has unique architectural features including the iconic smoke stakes that have become symbolic in the Savannah skyline. Available on the ground floor, with Riverwalk and lobby access, is a 654 SF retail space complemented by 163-guest rooms and suites, ground floor pizza restaurant, art gallery, café, chophouse, lounge, gift shop, and the Electric Moon rooftop bar.

The Three Muses Building includes high-end European inspired décor hotel spanning over three buildings. There are four spaces available, sizes ranging from 1,004 – 3,419 SF, each with Riverside frontage. Committed building tenants include an upscale Mexican restaurant, Byrd’s Famous Cookies, Southern Tide, Frank Reubel Fine Jewelry and a luxurious art gallery.

“Retailers have an opportunity to benefit from having space at a prime location. All of the retail spaces open onto the quarter mile of new Riverwalk being constructed as part of the development. This will be a 24/7 district, which will become the number one retail destination in the City.,“ Sebastian Findlay, Associate at Colliers International | Savannah.
