Oct. 14, 2013 – The Clubhouse in Statesboro held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for its fully renovated restaurant and new bar on Oct. 10.

“This fall was the perfect time to unveil our re-imagined restaurant and bar,” said Netra Van Tassell. “Now that school, college football, and NFL have started, we are excited to have the revamped menu and restaurant, and the addition of the new bar as one of our main components. We are focused on making the most of our facility, and want to provide a memorable and fun setting for all our guests.”

One of many updated aspects is The Clubhouse menu. New elements to the Spikes menu include create your own options for sandwiches and sundaes, as well as numerous Gluten-free items.

After the ribbon cutting, The Clubhouse hosted an event celebrating the opening of the restaurant and bar. Owners Netra and Darin Van Tassell catered the occasion and featured several foods from the newly tailored Spikes menu. They also provided the guests in attendance with games, entertainment, and door prizes.

“We are thrilled about the remodel, and we’re so grateful for the continued support of our guests and surrounding communities.” Owner, Darin Van Tassell continued, “We are very happy with the completed project, and look forward to hosting even more events for our guests, like OctoberQuest on the 19th.”
