Nov. 12 - Chatham County Marine Patrol to Close Parts of Wilmington River This Week

November 12, 2018 - The Chatham County Marine Patrol will periodically close portions of the Wilmington River this week to allow for utility work to be performed in the area.

Georgia Power will be installing new lines across the Wilmington River at the Causton Bluff Bridge (President Street Extension) from Monday, Nov. 12 through Thursday, Nov. 15. The Chatham County Marine Patrol will be on scene and will periodically close the waterway between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. to allow the work to be completed.
