July 30, 2017 - The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce’s council for emerging leaders, known as ‘LaunchSAVANNAH, will hold an event this week, co-hosted by The William Jay Society.
The summer mixer event will feature snacks from Big Bon Pizza and sips from Service Brewing Company.
Attendees will network with other young professionals while enjoying curator-guided tours of The Jepson Center’s “William Wegman: Improved Photographs” exhibit.
William Wegman is an internationally-renowned artist with a prolific career spanning more than five decades. He became a household name for his enigmatic photographs of his beloved Weimaraners.
LaunchSAVANNAH is the Savannah Area Chamber’s council for business professionals between the ages of 22 and 40.
Named in honor of the famed young architect whose talent still endures in Savannah, The William Jay Society (WJS) is a group of Savannah’s young professionals who share an enthusiasm and appreciation for art and Telfair Museums.
The ‘Dog Days of Summer’ event will be held this Thursday, August 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The Jepson Center for the Arts, 207 W York Street. Parking is available at the Jefferson Street garage.
The cost is $10, and is a members only event.
