May 7, 2016 – The Georgia Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a series of tours around the state, a program of looking ahead to prepare Georgia to compete on a world market. The ‘Georgia 2030 Tour’ will visit the Savannah area on June 7.  But, there are tours every week over the next few months, all across the state.

This week’s event will be in Warner Robbins, held at Flint Energies - Member Center, 98 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Chamber members and guests can participate. Tickets are free and available at the Georgia Chamber’s website, but registration is required.

The series is a collection of town hall meetings focused on Georgia 2030, “an ambitious plan to expand Georgia’s role in global commerce, cultivate a world class workforce, bolster economic mobility, improve long-term job creation, and support diverse, thriving communities,” according to the Chamber.

Facilitated by Georgia Chamber President and CEO, Chris Clark, attendees will participate in a live poll designed to help create a roadmap for Georgia’s future competitiveness.
