UGA Small Business Center "Starting a Business" Begins Oct. 22

If you are thinking of starting a small business, then taking this workshop is a crucial first step. The workshop will cover the basics of what you need to know and do before starting a business. It will also cover the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors, and business planning. Attending one this workshops may be one of the most important decisions you make prior to opening your business.
Location: Small Business Assistance Center, 111 East Liberty Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401
Cost: $69 per person (includes the cost of class materials) Special pricing is available for 2 or more people together.
These workshops are co-sponsored by The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and S.C.O.R.E. (Service Corps of Retired Executives).
