May 7 - 3rd Annual Georgia Reaching Out Worldwide (G.R.O.W.) to connect global business and Georgia small business

May 7, 2014  –The Georgia Reaching Out Worldwide program will return to Savannah for the third time, May 14, 4-6 p.m. and May 15, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. at World Trade Center Savannah, 131 Hutchinson Island Road. The program is free but attendees must register to attend.

G.R.O.W. offers Georgia businesses the opportunity to meet one-on-one with international buyers interested in buying Georgia products. The program is hosted by World Trade Center Savannah and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

The international purchasers representing agriculture, agribusiness, food and consumer goods and forestry have committed to attending G.R.O.W. Small to medium-sized Georgia exporters and potential exporters will be given the opportunity to meet individually with numerous global firms from Brazil, Israel, Canada, China and Japan.

G.R.O.W. is a state program funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s State Trade and Export Promotion Grant Program. It is designed to increase Georgia’s small business exports through new export services and reduced fees for existing export services.
