Oct. 4 - 2nd Annual Savannah Quill Author Convention to take place Oct. 20

October 4, 2018 - The Savannah Quill will host their second annual Author Convention on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Cottonwood Suites, 301 Governor Treutlen Dr, Pooler, GA 31322. With over 30 authors, special guests, and fall vendors, the Savannah Quill promises to offer a fun day for the entire family.

The Savannah Quill hosted their first annual convention in October 2017. This year’s convention will bring together award-winning authors including Ryan Dunn, Bobby Nash, Joshua Vasquez, Stella Price, Winfield Strock, John Stamp, Monica Floyd, Anne-Marie Mitchell, Kay Margaret, Adam Messer, Angie Gallion, Weslyn Bowers and more. There will be panels on writing, publishing, and an author signing at the event.

Other activities include a costume and trivia contest, where attendees can dress up as their favorite characters for a costume contest. There will also be cosplay and the Usualrangers5 cosplay group in Black Panther costumes.

The Savannah Quill will be collecting school supplies to benefit Blessings in a Bookbag. Anyone bringing a donation, including packs of paper, pencils, crayons, and other school supplies, will receive a 10% discount off one ticket purchase. Tickets are $10 for adults.
