March 27, 2019 - The Tybee Post Theatre will host the 11th annual Tybee Island Wine Festival on April 25-27 at the Tybee Island Light Station and other venues across the island. This three-day event will feature international wines, fine food and live music. Proceeds from the event will go to the ongoing restoration, operation and programming of the historic Tybee Post Theatre.

The Wine Festival kicks off with Wine & Dine at The Deck Beachbar and Kitchen Thursday, April 25 from 6-9 p.m. Chefs from The Deck Beachbar and Kitchen, The Collins Quarters and The Fitzroy will have menus prepared with the freshest local ingredients paired with the perfect wines.

The festivities continue Friday at Pickin’ & Shuckin’ with Beer & Bubbles at the Tybee Post Theatre from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy a sunset evening filled with oysters, a roasting pig, pulled pork and brisket and delicious cocktails.

The party continues Saturday with the Grand Wine Tasting at the historic Tybee Island Light Station from 3-6 p.m. followed with a performance by the legendary rhythm and blues band, The Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love. The Grand Wine Tasting will feature more than 100 international wines, mouthwatering coastal cuisine from the island’s favorite eateries and a silent auction. This year, festival-goers can purchase a VIP Grand Wine Tasting Ticket which includes entry to an exclusive VIP tent with special hors d’oeuvres, special wines and additional seating.
