Oct. 10 - Georgia Writers Association Announces 2019 Red Clay Writers Conference

October 10, 2019 - The Georgia Writers Association has announced that the annual Red Clay Writers Conference will take place at the KSU Center on Nov. 9, 2019, from 9-5 p.m.

During this special one-day event, writers will convene to meet, mingle, and gain valuable insight from a roster of speakers including podcasters, screenwriters, editors, authors, and more.

Invited speakers for the 2019 Red Clay Writers Conference includes authors such as Soniah Kamal, Stacia Pelletier, Terra Elan McVoy, Mario Chard, Jeff Clemmons, Hudson Phillips, and Shanda McCloskey; podcasters such as GPB's Sean Powers and WABE's Christina Lee; and literary journal editors such as C.J. Bartunek, Amber Nicole Brooks, and Caroline Crew. Guests will also be able to purchase one-on-one consults with fiction writer Spencer Wise, poet Amy Pence, and creative non-fiction writer Beth Ward.

The annual conference has garnered rave reviews from attendees in prior years.
