Dec. 17 - Joe's at the Jepson Now Open at Telfair Museums' Jepson Center

December 17, 2019 - Award-winning Chef Theodore Paskevich and Culinary Ambassador Donald Holland recently announced the opening of Joe’s At The Jepson, a new cafe experience located inside the Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center. Joe's At The Jepson offers a fusion of relaxed dining and casual gourmet cuisine through an evolving artisanal menu inspired by the museum's permanent collections and rotating exhibitions. Accessible without an admission ticket, the cafe invites you in to gather, dine, and drink.

From 2012 to September 2019, Chef Theodore Paskevich and Donald Holland were the owners of Joe’s Homemade Café, a brick and mortar cafe and catering business based in Savannah, Georgia. For the past seven years, the café received local and national recognition for its superior cuisine and hospitality including being voted one of the Top 10 Restaurants in Georgia by In Your State Magazine in 2017, Voted Best Caterer by readers of Connect Savannah in 2015 and 2016, featured in CMS Wire “What these guys know about customer service that you do not!” in 2014, and was awarded 2012 Small Business of the Year from the Small Business Chamber of Savannah in 2013.

Prior to closing Joe’s Homemade Café in September 2019, the duo was invited to relocate to the Jepson Center. Donald Holland, Culinary Ambassador, says, “It’s an absolute dream come true. To present our love of food and hospitality in such a world- class setting is a true honor.”

“Our menu will include some of the dishes our customers have grown to love as well as new flavor combinations inspired by the museum’s exhibitions,” says Chef Theodore Paskevich.

Robin Nicholson, Executive Director and CEO of Telfair Museums, says, “We are delighted to welcome Joe’s At The Jepson. It will be an important amenity for our visitors and allow further enjoyment of the great art and architecture at the Jepson Center, accompanied by first-class food and drink offerings.”

The cafe will be open Tuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Sunday - Monday 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
