June 19 - Chatham County Police Department Graduates and Hires New Recruits

June 19, 2018 - The Chatham County Police Department graduated 5 recruits on Friday, June 15, 2018.

The 5 recruits will take part in community projects throughout the week. Today, they will partake in a community project at the Animal Shelter from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. On Sunday, June 24, 2018, the 5 recruits will engage in a community project with the homeless in Forsyth Park.

Chatham County Police also has 19 new recruits that the department hired yesterday. On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, the new recruits will tour The Ralph Gilbert Civil Rights Museum at 8:30 a.m. That afternoon, the recruits will tour the homeless facilities/camps within the county.
