Sept. 25 - Coastal Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America Receive Wells Fargo Grant

September 25, 2017 - The Coastal Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America has received a $4,000 grant from Wells Fargo Bank. This grant will help support the Boy Scouts’ Learning for Life and Exploring programs for career and character education. Learning for Life and Exploring, subsidiary programs of the Boy Scouts of America provide career exploration, and career and character mentoring programs for boys and girls in 6th - 12th grade.

“Learning for Life’s Exploring programs are helping to shape the workforce of tomorrow by engaging and mentoring today's youth through interactive, real world experiences that allow youth to achieve their full potential in both life and work. We are grateful to Wells Fargo and its employees for their generosity and commitment to improving the lives of the young people in our community through their support of these programs,” said Scout Executive, Clif Morris.
