Sept. 17 – Savannah to Take Another Eight Properties by Eminent Domain; Special Called Mtg Sept. 26

September 17, 2019 – A Public Notice for the City of Savannah has been posted today for a Special Council Meeting to be held Thurs., Sept. 26, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of proceeding with a resolution to take another eight properties by eminent domain, part of the City’s effort to address blighted properties.

The Special Called Meeting will be held Sept. 26, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Savannah City Hall to consider the adoption of a Resolution to proceed with eminent domain pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 32-3-1 et seq. to condemn the following properties:

1.     1215 Delesseps Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20097 40007)

2.     1307 Delesseps Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20097 39004)

3.     1905 Delesseps Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20103 10014)

4.     2205 Delesseps Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20103 12013)

5.     2215 Delesseps Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20103 12014)

6.     2224 E 59th St., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20102 06001A)

7.     2319 LaRoche Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20530 02015)

8.     1302 W Gwinnett St., Savannah, GA 31404 (PIN 20046 01007)
