Nov. 8 - Engel & Völkers North America Officially Opens Savannah Shop with Grand Opening Celebration

November 8, 2016 - Engel & Völkers North America, the North American operations for the European based, premium real estate firm, celebrated the grand opening of its first Savannah shop, marking the firm’s union with Mopper Kelly, REALTORS®, one of the leading real estate companies serving Savannah and the surrounding communities. The event, hosted across the street from the new shop at Johnson Square, was attended by over 150 notable guests from around the country. 

The ribbon cutting ceremony featured speeches from special guests and VIPs, including Eddie Deloach, Mayor of Savannah; Karen Guinn, President of the Downtown Business Association; Whip Triplett, Chair of The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce; Jim Ramsay, COO of Engel & Völkers North America; Dicky Mopper and Jessica Kelly, owners of Engel & Völkers Savannah; and representatives from the Special Olympics.

“Following the recent openings of our Atlanta shops, the official opening of our Savannah shop signifies an important milestone in the expansion of Engel & Völkers North America’s footprint in the thriving Georgia marketplace,” said Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America. “As the market continues to appeal to a diverse, global clientele, the vast expertise and unmatched local intel provided by both Dicky and Jessica will ensure buyers drawn to the Savannah area will receive the highest level of service.”

Engel & Völkers Savannah, located at 31 W. Congress Street, will provide leading services for buyers and sellers of premier properties in Savannah and its surrounding communities. With a vast aerospace industry, the fifth busiest export port in the nation, a manufacturing industry that attracts a huge international following and a strong collegiate presence, Savannah has consistently drawn new residents to the area.
